Journal History

The Indonesian Journal of Psychology was officially established by Universitas Prima Nusantara and released its inaugural issue in 2026. The journal was founded with the primary objective of promoting the advancement of psychological research and professional practice within both Indonesian and global contexts. It serves as a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate empirical findings, theoretical developments, and applied studies in various fields of psychology.

Since its establishment, the journal has been committed to integrating psychological theory, research, and practical application to contribute meaningfully to scientific development and societal well-being. In the same year of its launch (2026), the journal formally implemented publication ethics guidelines aligned with international academic standards. Additionally, structured author contribution statements were introduced to ensure transparency, accountability, and research integrity.
